Asking who invented the sticky label is a bit like asking who put the ram in the ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong? Or asking who put the M in Manchester? This is a well written essay on the topic of sticky labels. It reminded me of Seinfeld in the sense that average folks don't generally spend much time contemplating such things as sticky labels, kleenex, cereal boxes, etc. It was a pleasure to read.
