The Panasonic TX-P50V10B is a dream come true for someone who wants to get a new television with top of the line picture and sound quality, great features, and still have a stylish look to it. The first of these features that caught my eye was the different viewing mode options. The different viewing mode options you can choose from are: Normal, Cinema, Dynamic, Game and THX mode.
I can honestly say that the picture quality, no matter which mode you choose to view in, is absolutely fantastic and well suited to each modes purpose. The THX certified mode (THX certification means the picture available is near that in the cinema, having surpassed the brightness and colour quality of other televisions) makes the images on the screen look realistic enough to reach into the television and touch them. The lightning fast graphic response time put together with the ultra high quality colours and contrasts you get when you are in game mode lets you experience the pinnacle of high quality, at-home game play.
The picture quality of the Panasonic TX-P50V10B is quite enough to make the television worth it, but even better is the fantastic amount of extra features that come with it. The television comes with VIERA CAST which lets you to watch online content with a built in web interface, is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant, is DivX compatible, comes with VIERA Tools and to top it all of this off the VIERA Link feature lets you to control multiple devices with just the VIERA Link remote.
The Freesat service is a nice extra that you will get when purchasing the Panasonic TX-P50V10B. Freesat is a high definition (HD) digital satellite service that comes along with your television. This service provides free high definition programming, as well as various interactive content. Excellent picture and sound quality combined with free HD programs!
I'm sure others out there have shared in my past frustrations of trying to find a television with the inputs I needed. This problem has completely been solved with the TX-P50V10B. The array of inputs on this model include HDMI, Composite video, Component video, S-Video, the VIERA Image Viewer, PC, LAN (Local Area Network) and 21 pin scart inputs. With all those choices you can pretty much find a way to connect just about anything and everything you can think of to hook up to a television.
Overall I am nothing but impressed with the Panasonic TX-P50V10B. Although the price is a little more than other televisions on the market, it is defiantly worth spending that little something extra to enjoy all the features this television has to offer. It really doesn't matter whether you are a huge movie fanatic who wants to get as close as possible to cinema quality as you can without leaving the house, a gaming fan who wants graphics so life-like they feel a part of the game, or just someone who is looking for a new high quality television with great picture and sound, I would highly recommend giving the Panasonic TX-P50V10B a try.
A great article, and a good review. I've got a Panasonic Plasma TV and its been great, really good picture quality, little motion blur, and easy to use menus. I'd definitely recommend Panasonic Viera TVs - even the lower-to-mid range ones are really good.
