Do you think you look like some sort of misfit because you have saggy breasts? Is the issue of drooping boobs a constant worry for you, if so you're not on your own? Nearly every woman on reaching puberty upwards will have at some time had firm breasts with solid protruding nipples which could if she turned fast easily do damage like poke someone's eye out.
Unfortunately in time and over time for all women the inevitable happens leaving them with saggy breasts after nature has taken its course.
Most usual and unavoidable factors that can cause the breasts to droop are having a baby and old age. In many cases of this happening some women let it go over their head and accept what nature throws at them. These same women correct their problem of saggy breasts by wearing a good support bra to give their boobs an uplift to where where they once belonged. Boobs if not kept in place with a decent bra will bounce all over the place with every sudden movement. Then we have women that find it hard to accept saggy boobs and no matter the cost, or what is included will go to great lengths to reclaim back a desired breast shape and firmness.
Whatever the reason for your sagging breasts doesn't mean you have to start using a "belt" as a bra. There are things a woman can do to avoid premature sagginess as well as firm her breasts, and prolong firmness into the bargain. It's shocking listening to the truth behind why some women avoid pregnancy like the plague all because they fear their figure and boobs will suffer. While pregnancy will for a short while distort the shape of a woman's body, it will in due course resort back to its natural shape, but if in the unfortunate case that it doesn't then there are particular exercises and foods to eat that will help you get back in shape. There are plenty of mums who are living proof that after giving birth you can still have a figure and firm boobs to die for.
Body parts such as the breasts and bum are the most likely areas women who have recently given birth look for ways to firm.
It's important whether pregnant or not to wear a good uplifting bra. A lot of breast problems rise from wearing the wrong sort of brassiere. The boobs need to be kept in place, and this can only be done if a good support bra is worn. Wearing pretty lacy bras with no support is not ideal and will in time allow sagginess. Most sexy frilly boob lifters don't lift or support the breasts like the bra created solely for this purpose. If you wear the wrong bra often and with the weight of the breasts you can expect nothing more for them to sag.
The biggest mistake made when buying a bra is when women buy for looks rather than comfort. When buying a bra it's essential you know the correct size. A properly fitted bra will provide comfort as well as help you maintain posture. Young teenage girls are usually the ones who tend to overlook the matter of comfort and posture and suffer for it later in life. An ill fitting bra can cause back problems, muscle tension, and even headaches. If you're not sure how to pick the right size bra then you should visit a lingerie consultant and ask for their advice.
If you know the right size bra you need then the next step is to consider support, coverage and comfort. Bras don't have to be boring, in fact good support bras are designed for specific body types, fashions and activities, and can come frilly and lacy. Young girls with developing breasts and when choosing a bra for the first time need to make this a priority. A proper fitting bra will help tremendously in controlling the breasts. If the breasts are at that stage where they are sprouting but not fully developed and a standard size bra won't fit then think on the lines of purchasing a training bra.
Sport bras are ideal for growing teens and especially more so for those overly active. Growing breast tissue is sensitive and needs protection.
A lot of girls turn to the padded bra purely because they help show off more cleavage. Padded bras lift the breasts and adds shape. Some push up bras use silicone inserts or water sacks to replicate the fullness of natural breasts. Take heed, although the padded bra may do these things they are in many cases of young girls wearing them not necessary, but will be, if the breasts are not propped up and kept in place at the time when keeping them in check is most need needed.
About the Breasts
A woman's breasts are made up of fatty or adipose tissue, so breast size usually goes by the build of a woman like how fat or thin she might be. The muscles directly beneath the breast are called the "pectorals" which are partly accountable for firmness. If you look towards working on these specific muscles then you will see pleasing results.
Cosmetic surgery is a popular correction option for sagging breasts, however not a method I would recommend unless your GP deems necessary for whatever reason. Surgery for breast enlargement or other is not only risky business health wise, but expensive to, and with no sure guarantee of never having problems later down the line. The safe way to firm the bust is with specially devised exercises which work wonders for women wanting to firm floppy breasts.
There are several types of exercises you may find helpful below. These exercises work the pectorals muscles, and include 1-3, 8-15 rep sets of each move 2-3 times a week. Any exercises you do should be given the okay by your GP
Firm Breasts - Step 1
Make sure you're comfortable before you start with your exercise routines. Lie down on your stomach and bend your knees followed by crossing your ankles. If you take your time doing these exercises you will find them more enjoyable. Now slowly bend your elbows while placing the flat of your hands out in front of your shoulders a little to the side. Stay relaxed and straighten your arms slowly lifting the body so you're balanced on all fours. Bring your chin back towards your chest so your forehead is facing the floor. At this point you should be tightening the abdominals.
Firm Breasts - Step 2
Lie on your back with the soles of your feet flat on the floor holding cans of beans or dumbbell in each hand. Raise the weights so your arms are over your shoulders and your palms face away from you. Draw your abdominals in but don't wedge your back into the floor; and avoid allowing it to arch up. Slope your chin toward your chest. Slowly lower the tins or dumbbells down to your side until your elbows barely touch the floor. Raise them again, taking care not to lock your elbows or permit the shoulder blades to lift off the floor. If you feel the need to use heavier weights then by all means up the weight, but be careful and don't overdo it.
Firm Breasts - Step 3
Lie flat on your back on a hard surface with your head, neck and upper back propped up against several cushions. Again holding a weight in each hand you need to press the weights above your chest, and the palms of your hands facing each other. Bring your chin towards your chest to line up your neck with the rest of your spine, keeping your natural back posture, neither arched nor flattened. Now spread your arms out so the elbows are leveling down to the sides, lower the weights till the elbows slightly touch the surface. Hold the bend in your elbows, and lift the weights back up. Never rush exercise. Speed will not firm the breasts any quicker, and you could do yourself a serious injury, leaving you with not only saggy breasts to worry about.
