With all of the different types, styles, models and flame configurations of cigar lighters on the market, it can be difficult choosing the one that is right for your needs. Those who smoke cigarettes can make due with just about any type of lighter, but cigar smokers need something more refined than your average plastic lighter. Different types of torch lighters are widely used among cigar smokers, but even these cigar lighters have different types of flame configurations. For instance, you can purchase butane cigar lighters with single, double or triple flames. In the following article, we will discuss more important information about the torch cigars lighter and its different flame configurations.

Determining which flame configuration you need for your torch lighter is one of the most important parts of selecting a cigar lighter. For cigarette smokers, a torch lighter wielding a single flame would be more than sufficient, but this is not necessarily so for cigar smokers. For cigar and pipe smokers, a single flame on a torch lighter will not be able to supply enough heat to get the job done. Torch lighters with double and triple flames are more appropriate for the cigar and pipe smoker.

The double and triple flames on some torch lighters will produce enough area of flame to light a cigar or pipe efficiently. There are many cigar enthusiasts that stick with the double flamed torch lighter for lighting their cigars. The double flames provide just enough coverage and heat to light the cigars perfectly. Triple flames are not bad for lighting cigars, but they are better used for lighting pipes. The triple flame provides enough coverage to light a whole bowl of tobacco with no problems. Using a double or triple flamed torch cigars lighter will allow you to successfully light your cigar without the worries of only getting the cigar partially lit. Cigars taste the best when they are lit properly with a good lighter.

Torch cigar lighters are also handy for other reasons. As you may have noticed at some point, when you hold a lighter upside or to the side, the flame usually moves as well. With torch lighters, you do not have to worry about this. You can hold a torch lighter upside down and the flame will continue to project down. Therefore, you can have a torch lighter with one, two or three flames on it held at any angle and the flame will not move. This helps to keep down on singeing or burning your fingers or other things close by.

I hope these tips help you in your search for the perfect lighter. Cheers
