Water gives a wonderful, natural soothing sound when it is running and is even used in therapy to relax people. Indeed even, people use it who just want to make their outdoor space and garden look more natural. Below are some tips on how to use water features for your plans.

Waterblade water feature to give a waterfall effect
This is quite possible the pinnacle of water features as you can craft rocks and stones and therefore decide the space and scale of the feature for your garden and at the same time make it as realistic as possible. To give it a natural feel, why not use stone and pebbles of varying sizes and colours when building the waterfall and dam area. Then dependant on what you need to do and want, you can simply buy a water blade and pump from a store to help push the water down the rocks and circulating back around. This is very popular at the moment, although can take time and planning to implement.

Add a Bird Bath if you want to encourage nature into your yard
Adding a simple bird bath can be a very easy way to add some water and at the same time increase wildlife visiting in your garden. This could be very useful especially if you are a bird watcher or nature lover. To add an extra dimension to this, why not add a pump and create flowing water for the birds to bathe in.

Solar powered water features mean little effort is needed
If you have a pond already in your garden then why not just add a floating water fountain? They can spray patterns, to jets and various other configurations. All they need is sunlight, so it leaves you to just place it down on the pond and relax.
