A quick glance at world headlines today gives you more than a million reasons why we need to build upon our police task force, across nations and societies.

But, why choose this particular vocation?

What do Police jobs call for? Why is it suddenly so important? All these questions and more have been floating around for decades now.

The reason behind the choice of a vocation is amply answered by the rise in the local and international crime scene and the need to involve the general public in maintenance of law and order.

A 'calling' for action and social support: The vocation involves a 24x7 commitment, and understanding the fact that social security emergencies could up at any part of the day or night, this is rightly so.
