EMMA LIFE TIPS

You spend most of your time at your place of work. Whether you like it or not, you get opportunities to meet people just like you. This will definitely lead to other things like romance. Workplace romance is not new and since more and more people do not have time to go date, the office plays matchmaker. Many relationships and marriages have been established from workplace romance and it is good to explore some of the issues that are involved.

First, there are merits and drawbacks to these kinds of relationships. You need to explore the pros and cons so that you can make a choice that will favour you. The following are some of the top merits that emanate from workplace romance. First, you do not have to worry about time for dating. When you are working and dating, you will certainly be killing two birds with a single throw.

Another good thing about workplace or office romance is that you have an idea about what people are like. You have spent time reading different personalities and you will judge the love interests more accurately. Many times, dating presents itself with this challenge where you have to start from scratch when you want to figure out who they really are. Also, workplace romance can have you save money. For example, if you spend nights with your partner, you can enjoy free rides to work and if this is not economical, I do not know what it.

However, the downsides can prove pretty devastating. The fact that you spend most of your time together can breed contempt and arguments. Partners in love need some time to be alone so that they can breath some fresh air. According to statistics, office romance will cause people to perform differently or under-perform. Many might cease to deliver on their job due to divided attention in this regard.

In cases where bosses become involved with juniors, favouritism will be prevalent. Jealousy from other colleagues is another problem lovers have to contend with in the workplace. These relationships can also get very ugly when break-ups happen. Many people have had to quit their jobs just because of relationships gone sour.

Some experts will advice you to steer clear of this kind of romance while others will advocate for it. However, you need to weigh the pros and cons and look at your individual circumstance. The truth is that great relationships can be made while hearts can also get broken. All in all, you need to look for tips that will help you handle the romance if you do not want to let it go.
