Having health insurance is awesome. When I did not have it before it caused a whole bunch of issues. My health plan before was based on prayer, I would pray that no one got sick enough to need the doctor. If I was at the bottom of my bank account for the month I would always hope that they would wait until payday to get sick, so I wouldn't end up at the walk in clinic again. All of these and other things changed when we got insurance.

I don't get nervous about going to the doctor any more. If we need some input, we just make an appointment and then go in. I see the same people working there. And I like that because it is really good to have a relationship with your doctor and his staff. They always look over the file before we come in and know everyone's name and specifics. That is nice.

There is no need to get worked up about how much it is costing me anymore and freaking out about those unplanned bills. We have a monthly premium that gets taken care of with the other regular monthly payments. There is no worry whatsoever about going to the doctor any more. We have a primary care doctor and there is always an appointment available to see them. Appointments mean no extensive waiting like we had to deal with before.

Another nice aspect of the Health insurance that we have is the preventative care. They have classes that have taught all of us the value of proper nutrition and explained what it means exactly. My kids really benefited from hearing this stuff from someone other than me because I bother them about everything. We have an HMO and they are big about people not getting sick, so the doctors are always available to see someone if they might have an issue.

Having health insurance has really made my life easier. I don't worry about one or all of my kids getting sick in the same month. I can go to the doctor as much as I want. We already saved a bundle because when my husband fell off the ladder and broke his arm most of the emergency room visit was covered. His pain medication too. I regret that I never looked into health insurance before. I always thought I would not be able to afford it.

You will find the cheapest health insurance by getting quick online quotes. When you look online you will see information on gobs of different health insurance plans to choose from.
