Digital cameras today are so advanced and at the same time cheaper compared as to when they were first introduced. You can buy a digital camera nowadays at a price lower that $150 at the same time with a satisfactory HQ grade. This means that it is inexpensive but at the same time you can get the quality and features you want just like from other cameras. HQ grade makes it easier for the consumer to be guided which digital camera to buy. Grades are according to letters with A+ rating as the highest grade. Here is a list of these inexpensive cameras sorted according to its HQ grades:



  • The Nikon L19 holds the top position with an 8 megapixel resolution, 2.7 -inch high-resolution LCD screen, 16 x 20 -inch photo-quality prints. With an A- HQ grade, its cost starts from $70 only.

  • Olympus FE-5010 has a B+ HQ grade has features such as 5x optical zoom, 12 megapixel resolution, and a 2.7 -inch LCD screen. Price starts at $149 only.

  • Olympus Stylus 1050SW comes with 10.10 megapixel resolution, 2.7 -inch LCD display, Shockproof of up to 5 ft., waterproof at 10 ft, freezeproof at 14 degrees F. Price is at $149.95.HQ grade is B+.

  • The new Fuiji FinePix Z30 comes with a 10.0 megapixel feature 2.7 -inch screen, successive movie function, 50 MG built-in memory, red-eye removal and easy-to-use blog mode. HQ grade is B+. Price starts at $119.95.

  • The new Samsung SL202 costs only $119 comes with a 10.2 megapixel resolution, 2.7 screen, digital image stabilization, blink detection. HQ grade is B+.

  • Canon Powershot A590 IS is priced starting at $99.95. HQ grade is B+ with features such as 8 megapixels, lens-shift image stabilization, 4x digital and optical zoom, with 32 MB internal SD memory, 2.5 -inch LCD display.

  • Nikon Coolpix L20 has a 10.0 megapixel resolution and an HQ grade of B+. It also has a 3.6x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD screen, red eye fix, face priority and many more. Price starts at $106.95

  • Fuiji Fine Pix Z33 has a 10.0 megapixel, waterproof, 2.7-inch LCD display, 50 MB built-in memory. HQ grade is B+ and a price starting at $139.

  • Canon PowerShot A550 with 7.1 megapixels resolution, JPEG format, 2-inch LCD, SD memory of 16 MB. HQ grade is B- with a price starting at $69.95 only.

  • Olympus FE-370 comes with features such as an 8 MP resolution, 5x optical zoom, 2.7-inch display, JPEG format, face detection technology with a HQ grade of B- has a price starting at $69.95.

  • Kodak EasyShare M863 has an 8.1 MP resolution, 2.7-inch display, JPEG format, Auto focus, 16 MB SD memory and many more. Price starts at $99.95 and an HQ grade of B-.

  • Sony CyberShot S750 comes with a 7.2 MP resolution, face detection technology, 2.5-inch LCD, 30 fps movie mode and many more. Price starts at $99.99 and with an HQ grade of B-.

  • Canon PowerShot A530 comes with a 5 megapixel resolution, JPEG file format, uses 2 AA batteries, 1.8-inch display, 16 MB SD card storage with a B- HQ grade. Price starts at $49.



These are just some of the inexpensive but high graded digital cameras available to date. Some inexpensive cameras may be lower than $40 but you cannot get the same quality and features you are looking for in a standard priced camera. It is best if you ask the HQ grade so you can buy an inexpensive camera with quality features.
