When Terry married William's Mother, she already had three children; he wasn't deterred by the children, but took it upon himself to be a Father to them. A year later, Terry married his children's Mother (William had been born by this time), regardless of her showing him no concern in being a [good] wife and/or Mother; Terry found himself being both, Mother and Father to the four children they had. All of this being accomplished while he held a 10-hour shift at work, for six days out of the week.
It wasn't long before the couple added three more babies to the bunch, giving Terry not only more mouths to feed, but more duties to uphold. By the time their second daughter was born, Terry grew tired of having to do not only his part, but his wife's part in holding the family together. This is when the domestic violence ensued. The funny thing is that the abuse wasn't on Terry's behalf, but his wife's. Seeing that Terry having so many 'obligations' around the house, and with the family wasn't breaking his spirit, she set out to try other methods ... resulting in burning him with a hot iron, cutting him with knives, and of course using blunt objects to assault him.
Nevertheless, Terry remained in hopeful spirits that his wife would one day love her family. So, he continued on his ritual of taking care of family and home; his schedule resembled this:
Every morning before work, he made sure the children were up for school (during the weekdays), breakfast was ready for them, and they were properly dressed. He combed and styled his daughters' hair, but making sure his son knew how to properly brush his own hair.
After school, he would take an hour break to ensure his children were at home safely, doing their homework. He then made dinner for the entire family, and then back to work for another two hours. All this was being done while the Mother either slept, or was away from the home for indisclosed reasons.
A friend of Terry asked him one day why is he still with the "deadbeat" wife/Mother of his children, and was flabbergasted when Terry responded, "Someone has to do it. My children need to be taken care of, and hers too."
I wonder how many men would step up to the plate, and take that responsibility, involuntarily?

She has no children and has never been married, but she does love her Siamese cat Smoki like she birthed her. But Smoki has indulged herself with more than five litters of kittens. Funny how Ronyae can be a grandparent before she became a true parent.

Yes, Marijo. As a matter-of-fact, I dated him and helped him take care of his four children, while planning his divorce (they were separated at the time I entered their lives). He was a gem in his own manner ... but, marijo I will tell you this: he was a scarred gem, beaten and worn from misuse, unappreciation. Thanks for reading, Marijo.

One thing puzzles me is that how come the woman shows no concern for the man she chose to marry and with such a sick attitude is also able to bear three more kids that she doesn't care less especially the house chores? Terry should make her come to her senses and stop doing so much for her. Well, every family has a difficult Bible to read as the adage goes.
That is so true, Hilda. On the comment you made about Terry's wife, I always wondered the same, but failed to bring life to it because of how the female presented herself to me; the girl had no clue as to what and how to be either, especially being a child of the same form of Mother. As far as having more children, I came to the conclusion that the children were a result of their fighting (make-up sex).
