Female hair loss can be incredibly depressing.

It can be more psychologically damaging than thinning hair in men.

Although it follows a different pattern to men's thinning hair ( ie receding at the temples first then balding on the crown, ) women's thinning hair is usually caused by the same thing as in males, namely DHT.

DHT is a byproduct of testosterone and is the main enemy in thinning hair, attacking the follicle and making it shrink and shrink, thus making hair thinner and thinner.

Thinning hair in women often occurs after menopause when the testosterone countering Esterone levels drop.

( In certain cases thinning hair can be a result of severe stress, a hormonal imbalances after childbirth, lack or iron in the diet and thyroid problems.) But in the majority of cases DHT is the culprit.

There is only one medical treatment that has been proven to treat thinning hair in women successfully and that is Minoxidil. Minoxidil is an FDA approved treatment for thinning hair in men and women. This works by increasing blood flow to the hair follicles.

Minoxidil is successful in the majority of cases in slowing down thinning hair.

Besides Minoxidil, Nizoral shampoo is widely reported to slow hair loss, though there is no medical evidence for this.

Cosmetically, wigs are an option to treat thinning hair cosmetically but not to everyone's taste due to the cost and potential discomfort involved, plus the constant fear of being spotted.'

We provide a fantastic cosmetic hair enhancer called IH thickener that is made from keratin ( just like your own hair.) It works much like mascara does for eyelashes.

Upon applying IH thickening fibers even the thinnest hairs will be incredibly transformed.

IH is safe, instant, painless and undetectable. It will restore your hair to its former glory and give you incredible density, transform your precious hair back to its former glory, cosmetically.

Used in conjunction with Minoxidil for women ( and we believe, Nizoral shampoo) you can keep your existing hair without it getting thinner and have the appearance of a strong, thick, lush head of hair.
