Once was enough!

Though many times I have forsaken,

Once was never enough.

Enough of once after it was taken,

Though many times were just too much.

Everything all at once,

Everything lies just after now.

All at once everything,

Is it even worth the raise of a brow?

Time,

There is simply not enough.

Even with eternity everywhere, I still find myself late.

I try to refuse time schedules and still never procrastinate.

Wait! Wait! That is a lie. I sometimes put things off saying:

I will get to it just as soon as I reincarnate.

Time, is a funny thing.

Though I am a lover of philosophy, it is but a perfect waste of it.

Talk about no possible means to an end.

Time and philosophy mingle together so nicely without ever touching

or having to bend to circumstance or consequence

These are nothing more than ravings worth little more than my fulfillment of

some rhyme quench.

I often wonder if I ever made sense.

Maybe once.

This passage is apparently about nothing!

So much the better, it applies to anything.

Though many times I have forsaken,

Once was never enough.

Enough of once after it was taken.

That last dream was a bit rough.

I am shaken, but of course, I'll have another.

I have no choice in the matter.

Once twice was taken.

Even after all this stuff.

I find myself sayin'

Once was enough.

I absolutely love Poetry and just thought I would contribute a couple of my favorite Poems I wrote.  They were tremendous amount of fun to write.   I only hope they are worth reading.
