You want to create some instrumentals of your favorite songs to use for karaoke or just for listening and relaxing or so on? So you will need to remove the vocals from the track. You may think it will be extremely difficult to do that. I think it's not completely right and I am going to prove it now. Here below is a process which helps you do the removing quickly and easily through just a few simple steps. You may find it time-consuming at first, but just with a few tries, the process will become second nature to you then. Here we go.

Step 1: Purchase or download some audio editing software such as AV Music Morpher Gold, CoolEdit 2000, Music Editing Master or WavePad Sound Editor or so on. These programs will allow you to open up music tracks and songs and edit them in a variety of ways. In this article, I use AV Music Morpher Gold as an example. The program will allow you to remove the vocals in real-time that means you will remove the vocals from the song while listening to it. Download AV Music Morpher Gold (http://download.cnet.com/AV-Music-Morpher-Gold/3000-2170_4-10285343.html?tag=mncol ) and install it into your computer.

Step 2: Open the program, choose the Morpher module and then load the song into the program. Double-click on the song in the playlist of click Play on the Player Panel to play the song. In the Morpher Panel, click on th e drop-down list and choose Voice Remover (Center Filtering Method). Click on the Active button to turn Voice Remover on (the Active button turning yellow means Voice Remover is ON.) You will be able to notice the changes of the sound right then because it happens in real-time.

Step 3: There are 4 main control elements in Voice Remover. Moving the 1 st slider, the Center Width , helps remove the vocals. The 2 nd element, the Center Filtering , has 2 sliders including the High Pass Filter slider which decides how much the sound will be left intact and the Low Pass Filter slider which works in the opposite way to reduce noise. Move the Vocal Pitch , the 3 rd element, to select the fundamental frequency of the voice signal. Move the last element, the Notch Width , to the right to remove more sound or to the left to add more sound (the setting of 8 could be the best.)

Step 4: Once satisfying with the result, press the Morph Selected Files button on the toolbar or choose Morph Selected Files in the menu Morph to morph the song. The Morphing dialog box will come up. Define the output folder and the output file format for your song, and then press Morph to begin the process.
