Tourists from around the world are thrilled when they take a holiday on the Sunshine Coast. It has immense beauty with the tropics and sun it's a definitive vacation place. There are wonderful beaches and fantastic shopping, the best anywhere.

Sunshine Coast markets offer a wide variety of treats for visiting tourists and residents alike. Most of the markets in this region are open during specific times of the week and offer a wide variety of apparel items, crafts, novelties and foods. Their times of day vary a lot also, as some of the markets choose to stay open only for the morning hours, some wait for the cool of the evenings and still others only offer afternoon hours.

Here are some of the most unusual markets on the Sunshine Coast - The Eumundi Market is not to be missed, it's open only on Wednesday and Saturdays early, 8a until 130p. With approximately 10,000 shoppers a day it is the biggest market on the Sunshine Coast, offering a lot of fun with crafts, art and produce in more than 300 booths. Street performers keep the crown entertained as they shop.

The Cooroy Community Market has wonderful deals on crafts and apparel items, but they're only open on Thursdays 8am until 130pm. Another market open only on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays is the Cooran Foo Market right next to Pioneer Park, the children can play there while you shop. It offers lots of jewelry, arts and crafts, homemade foods and fresh produce are available along with live music.

A Sunday morning market, open from 7a to 12p, is the Caloundra Country & Farmers Market on Arthur Street. They offer hand stitched clothes, books, collectibles, fresh fruits and seafood amongst other items. This is a very nice market and offers the tastes, sounds and sights of this area.
