There are no rules that state that you have to be of Irish decent in order to enjoy planning an Irish blessing wedding. There are a few things that you must touch base on when planning your perfect Irish wedding those things are you need to assure that you pick the right day, as well as include a lucky charm, ensure that there is a great amount of food and wine and dance the night away. Irish blessing weddings are a great time for the bride as well as the groom and anyone that attends.

A lot of people do not even know that a lot of the things that take place at a modern day wedding were actually taken from the Irish culture. Ensuring that you select the right month is one thing that many Irish people are extremely crucial on. You should opt to select a day in the spring, this has been deemed the most acceptable time to join in a unification with the person that you love. A lot of Irish holidays take place around this time as well.

Making sure that you have your own lucky charm to carry at your wedding is also a crucial point to having an authentic Irish wedding. Many brides will opt to carry a white hanky with them. This hanky will later be converted into a bonnet for their first child, and then cut back down into a hanky for their child to carry on their momentous day.

What good is any wedding without the right amount of food, flowers and wine. The Irish culture is adamant on ensuring that you include all of these crucial parts to your wedding. It is an old time Irish tradition for both the bride as well as the groom to consume at least three mouthfuls of oatmeal and salt at the start of their wedding reception.

And of course what good is a wedding reception without a little bit of dancing. Whenever someone thinks about the Irish people they always picture them dancing, therefore your wedding day should be full of great music that you and your guests can dance the night away to.

Often times, people will make a toast at your wedding. This toast is actually considered an Irish wedding blessing in itself. People will adamantly wish the bride as well as the groom good luck and prosperity during the time that they spend together. Often times the blessings will be extremely heartfelt and of course be given by both family as well as friends.

In many accords an Irish wedding is just like our modern day weddings that we all avidly enjoy today. They are full of a great time as well as excellent food. Both bride and groom are surrounded by people who love them both.

If you are trying to plan an Irish blessing wedding there are two main things to remember. You should have a bride and a groom that are seamlessly head over heels for one another, and of course a group of your closest friends and family to join in the celebration.
