Hello, God? Are you there? HellOOoo. Are you listening? I know; you have a gazillion other things to do and billions of people to keep happy just here on earth, let alone all the people on all the planets around all the billions of stars in just our small galaxy. And then how about the billions of galaxies, all with their billions of suns and billions of planets full of people? Whew. But you are a miracle worker so I guess you can handle it.

All I want is a Blackberry for Christmas.

Is that okay? That's not asking for much, is it? Just a little Blackberry so that I can keep in touch with all my friends at SearchWarp.com every moment no matter where I am!

Okay, just in case you have some kind of quota and can only grant a few favors at a time, I will give up my Blackberry this year for a little food for some starving child in Africa, and maybe a little hope for his young mother who doesn't know where to turn. Is that a deal?

Actually, can you throw in the little girl in Bangladesh. You know the one, the one with little girl dreams who wants a doll baby, but chances are she will never have such things as doll babies and dreams come true, in her short lifetime.

Tell you what, after you make it possible that all the kids in the world go to bed with a full stomach tonight, then you can give me my Blackberry. How's that? . . . I'll wait.

You know God, as I think about it, maybe I don't need that Blackberry after all. I mean, I can get by. Yep, you can take me off your list for now, I'll make do. I just thought that with a Blackberry it might be easier to locate you.

Or maybe . . . I already have.
