Today`s bread makers are a million miles from the simple oven which sat in most kitchens. A extension of technology, and convenience since traditional techniques which allowed you to make only bread, they were limited in use . Now, you can use modern bread makers to make a variety of breads to suit the needs of the family. So while your children are satisfied with plain bread for breakfast, you can treat your hubby with dry fruit-filled crusted bread.

In the olden days, bread making was both an art as well as a labour-intensive process but now, with the arrival of bread makers, it is relatively easy for people to make bread at home with the turn of a switch. With the Panasonic bread maker at your disposal, it won't be long before you start making professional quality bread at home

Essentially, a Bread Maker is a small special-purpose oven, with a control panel. It has various user-settable controls that may be used to bake bread as per one's convenience. Similarly they also have non-stick surfaces that allows for better cleaning and maintenance. The machine has a metal cladding and consumes about 550 watts of power. Bread maker models from Panasonic (SD254 and SD255) are also intelligent and come with a built in timer facility that has up to 13 hours of advance programming that allows you to make bread even if your at work . The basic difference between SD254 and SD255 is the automatic functions that are incorporated in SD255. Both the Panasonic Bread Makers come at similar prices.
