Lift chairs are engineered as a lifting aid for seniors and those with some health issues. They are packed with different features that may resemble a recliner. Lift chairs recline on several positions with only a click on a button. Some of these chairs move from a standard position to standing position. On the other hand, some can be reclined into any angle. The reclining feature is to help individuals enjoy watching TV, reading books, sitting and snoozing. Some models have a reclining level that can go nearly horizontal. They can also be made as a napping bed.

Most lift chairs are also designed with massage or vibration settings. The blood won't circulate properly if the person sits for a long period of time. If this condition happens, the person may suffer from fatigue and pain. It is essential to keep the blood moving even while sitting. With a lift chair's massage or vibration setting, blood circulation is stimulated in the entire body to give more comfort to the user. In addition, the massage setting can stimulate tired muscles.

Another feature that makes it so great is its heat setting. With the heat setting, the temperature of the lift chair can be manipulated. The user can change the temperature to suit their desire. So, even though the room is too cold, the user will still feel warm without the need to adjust the room's thermostat. People in cold areas will usually benefit from this feature that can give warm and comfortable temperature.

Lift chairs provide superior safety technologies such as fire retardant and automatic reset. Fire retardant is one of the most remarkable safety features of a lift chair. Unlike most common chairs, lift chairs will not go up in flames quickly. This is a very important feature. In addition, if there is a power outage, lift chairs will go back to an upright-seated position so that in case of fire emergency, the user won't be stuck lying down.

It can help seniors stand without too much twisting or turning. Seniors usually suffer every time they try to stand from a comfortable chair. They exert too much pressure on their weak knee joints and ankles. They are wonderful for individuals rehabilitating from an injury or illness. It can be painful to stand without a lifting aid. With a lift chair, anyone can now stand easily and independently.

Lift chairs are also essential to prevent injuries. Seniors' bones are not as strong in comparison to younger generations. They have higher risk to bone fractures. Fortunately, lift chairs tries to prevent a way to avoid and decrease the risk of accidents and injuries caused by standing and sitting. It can move to any sitting position at a touch of a button.

Lift chairs also give extreme comfort to the user. The comfort quality of these chair is similar to a top quality recliner. Though their main purpose is for physical therapy, lift chairs are made with high quality materials to give the user a relaxing experience. Moreover, the materials are easy to clean, soft and luxurious. In general, these chairs are a great investment for both in health and safety.
