To sum them all, the total infertility costs could have a rough total amount of $16,000 to $20,000 or higher, depending on individual cases.

These high costs of infertility will result in financial crisis for millions in the US alone. There are some ways to make the costs lower in order to avoid the financial problems affect the whole family. Some insurance policies cover infertility costs at a certain rate. If you have acquired a policy, check your policy terms and conditions now to fully understand the degree of coverage. Another help is the Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) which allows affected couples to declare the cost against taxes.
Do not use your credit cards for the medication and hospital bills if at all possible; this just adds to the overall stress. Instead, consider some possible ways to raise the money for the tests and treatments. As what other families are doing, exchange your properties for smaller or lower costs ones, or give up some of your belongings that you are not using to provide for the finances. Drive an older, cheaper car.
