I think I am kinda mad at you, Dear God. I may as well tell you, since you can read my thoughts. I'm upset over the things that have happened the last 2 or 3 years. I don't like to be shaken up like that. I don't like the way it feels. Grief is so hard, dear Lord.
I know I have so much to be thankful for and I do thank you so much. Also, there are people who have suffered much more than me, so why should I even be a little bit angry? Overall, I have had a great life, good health and live in a wonderful country.
Everyday when I turn on the television, some little girl has been snatched and raped and they leave her in a garbage can like she is trash. She is so innocent and not out to hurt anyone, just being a little girl. How about that young girl that was gang-raped last week and several people just stood around watching? Couldn't they at least have texted or called the police? What to you make of this, Dear God?
Our children are carrying guns to school, as if they are going to war - maybe they are, in a way. We have to hire security guards for our schools, instead of using the money for the band or the football team. My daughter couldn't take cupcakes to school on her little girl's birthday because security was so tight. What happened to us, dear God?
Why do our children hate and bully? Why aren't they enjoying interacting with other teens in person, (playing games, etc.) instead of "sexting" or cyber bullying? Oh, I know there are many good teens, but I guess I only hear about the ones that are unhappy.
And then there is the war - It breaks my heart that everyday our men are being killed. They say it is for our own protection..maybe so, but the way crime is exploding, we need our men home with our families..we need help before we all wind up in a civil war. We need fathers who will teach their boys how to respect girls and that they can be more of a man without a gun.
We need some real heroes, dear Lord. Can you please send us some? America seems to consider Hollywood, money, celebrity and power as their heroes. We pay millions of dollars to our football players each year, but what about the people who do research for cancer and these other horrible diseases? Shouldn't they be rewarded with money? Shouldn't they be our real heroes?
I know you love us, Dear Lord but I am your child, so therefore I think I can be honest with you. If this is wrong to be angry, Dear Lord, please forgive me. You know my human mind cannot possibly fathom how all of this must hurt you also, but I just had to talk to you, Dear God.
I feel better now.

Hi Fran, great article. Five stars for sure. Not sure if your article is tongue in cheek or sincere, but I’ll just mention that many of the original authors of the US constitution were Deists rather than Theists. They believed in a God, but one who created the universe and then walked away leaving everything up to natural law. The Theists, on the other hand believe in a God that micro-manages everything. Who is to say what is true since none of it can be proven, but the Deist theory would answer your questions easier than the Theist version. And of course then there is the Buddha who explained in his First Noble Truth how human suffering and stress is a fact of life, and then mentions the cure for this is his Fourth Noble Truth.
I used to believe that God micromanages, but now am not sure...that doesn't mean he doesn't love us but I think we have to make things happen or not....I am just not sure..I did not know -about the Deists and Theists - very interesting. Thanks.

One must never feel that God is at the bottom of these nightmarish things that happen, because 'horrors' are specifically placed into our blueprints by OURSELVES and the process has very little to do with God except that we have promised and 'contracted' with him to to submit ourselves to these precise terrors to learn lessons essential to evolve our spirits.
Agreeing to submit to horrendous experiences of negativity while we are here on our Earthly plane, we do fulfill our blueprints and almost every person(except evil people who are 'banged' back into the body,through a darkest doorway without them) has a SELF ARRANGED blueprint.
It is worse than a very serious error to blame God( who, unlike the god of the bible, is ONLY all loving) for the nasty things that we see, hear and experience.One can't pretend to understand God as even to the perfect angels, He is 'unknowable'.
Our blueprints(which is what a true psychic 'reads')are carefully planned by US with the assent of the Council of Elders and our spirit helpers and we are the only ones to 'blame', if that's the correct word, for the nightmarish, worse than death experiences that we are subject to,here.
Therefore, there are no such things as accidents;" all is written', is literally true.
Even a deja vu, a seemingly inconsequential little moment, a 'bump' in time, is specifically placed in our blueprints to let us know that for the moment, we are on our chosen, planned spiritual path.

Paul, I do believe that God has a "blueprint" for every follower but I don't understand what you mean when you say that we have placed horrors into our blueprints. We don't choose illness, etc.
you are correct as 'health' is an option in our blueprints,that is, it isn't always written in and we ARE subject to illness(I am bedridden and wheelchair bound with spinal chord injury, for instance) but the 'ETC' that you included,after illness, is indeed within our contracted blueprint,even the nastiest ETC!(and followers and NON followers all have blueprints and return to the SAME Heaven!)Muslims don't go to a separate Heaven than atheistic or Christians;Jews don't have a 'chosen place' there,either)
E.G.If one's five year old runs into traffic and is run over by a truck and killed ,one's WRONG to blame God; it WAS WRITTEN AND PLANNED in her and our blueprints by us to teach us lessons about loss, sorrow,sacrifice,suffering and acceptance, lessons that seem very cruel, perhaps, from our perspective here, but lessons written into our blueprints and seen as essential from spiritual eyes.(I want to write a book about these things ,titled;The TYRANNY OF HEAVEN"
Fran, I liked this article. I have to agree with Paul, and expand a little. I believe we choose EVERYTHING in our lives. Not consciously, but in a former time that we aren't allowed to remember. Sometimes we make the most of these 'choices', sometimes we don't. God did, after all, endow us with free choice. Otherwise he'd have just been a sort of dictator. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, tho we may not recgonize that reason for a long time, sometimes never during this lifetime. And it definitly IS ok to be mad at God, in spite of all I've said. He doesn't care, just hopes we can learn something while here.
In spite of my article, I have always believed everything happens for the best and that we all have choices. Making choices at a former time is a very interesting concept that I hadn't thought of before. Thanks so much for your thoughts.
What a wonderful, heartfelt prayer, Fran. I'm sure God is crying over what happens to our innocent children, our young people fighting this so called war, the general greed that is befalling our country due to the covetous politicians and the sad state of the world in general but you were able to put into words what so many of us feel in our hearts.

Yes Fran, I believe God is also troubled by what his children are doing here on earth. But it does help to talk to him sometimes, it does make us feel better. good article
Very good piece, Fran. Mankind has free will in order to chose to love and relate to God or not - that also involves free will in other areas and I am sure many of our choices break God's heart. I suspect he doesn't freak when we are angry with him and venting. It is satan who has come to steal, lie and rob and his time is getting really short - I think that is much of what we are seeing today. Thanks for writing this. A PS - I think that it is not that God "mirco manages" all but that He is totally interested in us and even our tiniest concerns. He created man for relationship with Him and He wants to relate to us on all levels. He doesn't keep us out of problems (they help us learn how to trust him and how to grow) but walks with us "through the valley of the shadow of death"....HE is there to walk and talk with us and cry and laugh with us. I also wonder about those who are ademently (I can't spell sometimes) explosive about the fact that God doesn't exist - what they have been through to have them arrive at that point. Turkey was great and we are having melting snow - like springtime and they happen off and on all winter in this part of the Rockies! Blessings, Marijo
I also wonder how people arrive at the point where they don't think God exists. (That is a whole another article). Snow seems so strange to me. I am in Florida, in my shorts. It is79 degrees here now. Today it got up in the high 80's.
It is melting now and we are having springtime - we have many throughout the winter here. I was an atheist for 9 years - so I can relate to some of them more than they think - have a piece or two on here about those nine years an atheist! Marijo
