Ever wonder how you can enhance your backyard or garden? A bamboo gazebo is the perfect solution to add to the beauty of any area on your property. A bamboo gazebo is a wonderful place to have friends and family sit and enjoy the beauty of your garden or backyard.

A bamboo gazebo is quickly gaining popularity because of the strength and durability of bamboo. These gazebos can be placed in the backyard or garden and can be used to store garden tools or to spend a quiet afternoon. Besides bamboo there's a wide variety of materials to choose from such as wood or aluminum.

The two most popular materials for gazebos are bamboo and wood. Wood is the most popular material used however if you do not choose one that is already treated you will need to paint it. They need little maintenance only an occasional washing with a mild detergent. Since bamboo is a renewable resource you are actually helping the environment by making bamboo your choice of material for your gazebo.

Having a bamboo gazebo not only is an eco friendly thing to do but you are also saving yourself the chore of painting, rust proofing and using sprays for protection from for insects. Bamboo is naturally resistant to insects so these types of gazebos are free of pesticides and does not require protection from insects.

The style of a bamboo gazebo is an elevated structure with bamboo flooring and sits slightly above the ground. The gazebo is open on all sides complete with a bamboo roof. Some people add shades to the sides so they can direct the airflow in any direction they choose.

Keep in mind that if you plan to have a bamboo gazebo built from the beginning you should choose someone experienced in building bamboo gazebos. This is the easiest way to understand them.
