I wrote this poem with the thought of a better world in mind. To try to make conditions better in the world can be a difficult task to engage in but it all begins with but a single step.

   Better World

To dream of a more peaceful world for all to live in
Yes, we can change the world to a better place
For the future depends on where we've been
Mistakes we made - by not living by God's grace

We can improve the world if we give it our best
Working for tomorrow should be our true goal
From the fruits of our labor - God will truly bless
The world needs our care - let it come from our soul

Today begins our journey - into a new tomorrow
Let us promise ourselves to make it all come true
Our strength from God - we will ask to borrow
The road may get rough - but we will see it through

From yesterday we move forward with help from above
The future begins - with but a single step nearer
For today brings the promise - of all his true love
When we reach our goal - all - will look so much clearer

Enjoyed your poem very much. It is good to know we can look forward and know that it will be much better.
