I'm going to turn over a new leaf, which is an old American idiom meaning "I'm going to make changes in my life for the better."

Yes through the past 38 years now, I've been in and out of mental hospitals for psychiatric problems. I saw my shrink yesterday and told him I believe I have made a tremendous amount of progress the past few years.

I'll be 61 years old this coming November 8th. To some young people this may seem like an old age but to me I wouldn't want to go back one day of my life. The older I get the better I feel.

I've been through some difficult times the past four decades. However, through it all I believe the world has changed for the better. I believe we are living in a better world today than the days of yesterday.

Only today, I personally seem to be trapped in the middle of it all. I can't seem to get started in the process of following my dreams. My dreams have always been to become involved in world affairs.

When I was released from the military in 1969 all by myself, I began to rewrite the constitution. I believed at that time in history that it was time for a change in our ways here in America. Those days were very different from these days i.e. in those days there were many of us trying to make things better in the world.

Together we did make a difference back then which is felt today among all who cared in those days. What I'm saying is we are freer today in those days we were slaves of the times.

Nevertheless, I'm not going to let these times stop me from being myself. Yes, I found since I've been writing for search warp that I feel as though I am doing something positive with my life. I am getting my ideas out into the open.

However someday I will begin to play my role in world affairs where I can make a difference in not only my life but in the lives of many others. Yes I am going to turn over a new leaf.

Happy Birthday guy! 61? Just a kid compared to me. Can't wait for you to take the world stage. The world will be a better place when you do. Actually you are already making a difference in people's lives.

Best .......e

Now that you've decided to turn over a new leaf you've won half the battle. Now you just have to do something each day to work toward your dream. Good luck.

You have helped me too Susan, I'm going to write an article on search warp about leaving the site for awhile. It takes more than words to change the world it takes action. I've learned a lot from reading other articles and it has helped me a lot in writing some. Now I've got to do something constructive, take care
