I got the idea for this cartoon from conversations in the media about conservatives being upset about much of the things happening in Washington and their voice not being heard by anyone on the hill. The idea being that neither of the parties in the two party system are taking their concerns as serious and some talk of a third party or at a minimum hitting the rest button on all of their political careers and electing an entirely new crew starting with the elections in 2010. I have also heard some things that people on the left of the political spectrum are not happy that their needs or wants are not in the forefront like maybe that thought they should be by now. I'm not sure if that is true or not but like I said it is something I had heard in passing. This idea primarily came from the standpoint that the some conservatives feel that Washington is still the same old place it has always been and the two party system is not working for some of them. That's where this cartoon came from in a nut shell. Enjoy and have a great day.
