Solar Comfort Heating

For some time now I have been having a change of heart.  Sure I had thought of myself as a good person and even obedient to God. However, I have had a real paradigm shift. Some of which began after I had my children and realized the influence I need to be to them so that they will be upstanding citizens. Another is after exhausting myself working towards the bonus in life and not getting it!

What if we thought different? My first question was, am I blessable?
We all want a good life and all the blessings we can have. However, have you ever stopped to think: Am I blessable? Really, what are we doing to deserve blessings? I pondered this and I came to the realization that I fell short.

What if you had money and lots of it, what would you really do with it? I mean really? Everyone says they would give back to society, etc. but would you? Would you do it with a joyful heart or perhaps hesitantly?

My personal counter action is I let it go more now. I give up money that would have normally remained in my pocket. Oh and this is often when I am pretty broke! See that is when the blessing is really there, when you can't afford it.

Surely it was really hard at first and still is. You know what? It pays back! I have seen money and blessings come back in many surprising ways from major discounts to extra income in odd ways. I feel great doing it too! Perhaps it may be helping someone without the await for the credit for doing so. Keep it private. Nobody needs to know. That is where the blessing comes from.

Now I find myself working to be more thoughtful and less self centered. As an example, if I am in a line, I will often let  someone go ahead of me. Sometimes even if I am in a hurry. It is kind of like the pay it forward. But I say it is really how life should be. More thoughtful of others. It can be amazing how you can make another persons day! Maybe they were having a horrible day and you just turned it around for them.

Respect of money!
Here is another thing I have always believed in doing. If you see even a penny on the ground, pick it up. I believe that to gain finances you have to respect even the minimal. I have had the temptation of throwing a penny away in the trash. Not now! In my opinion, respecting money also means not  defacing it.

I also see too much squandering of money. It is is really easy to do. However, is the item you are looking at spending money on a necessary purchase? For example you see the dvd at the store that you just have to have, is it really something you need? If your going to watch it enough to make it worth your while then sure. Otherwise, let it go!

What really is considered theft or breaking the law?
I had recently been put to the test. I was with my son at the local landfill. After unloading the truck we noticed some items that really should not be there. It is clearly posted that there is an ordinance against salvaging. But really, who cares right? What is the big deal if I take a little?

So we loaded it up and began to drive off. I was overwhelmed with conviction. A law is a law. I looked at my 8 year old son and said, son we really should not take it should we? We both agreed we shouldn't. So we backed up and unloaded it. You know, not only was I setting a tremendous example, but it also felt amazing knowing I was doing the right thing.

Keeping the land a pretty place and feeling good doing it!
Now a days I find myself respecting the land more! It is pretty easy to see a piece of trash on the ground and just simply ignore it. However, if you pick it up and throw it away you will be amazed how good you will feel. It wasn't your trash but see that is where the blessing is. Doing something you don't have to do or perhaps don't want to do but you do it anyways.

It's just a white lie.
A lie is a lie is a lie is a lie. When we lie, even that really small lie that we strive to justify, gives a guilt that doesn't go away. It can cause hurt and distrust later as it seems to always be revealed eventually. Just look at politicians as an example.

Another lie can be in business. You know the simple stretch of the truth. This is something I often see in my industry with Infrared heater sales. Oh sure they exaggerate to get the sale with amazing statements. Really though, people don't believe it and it just discredits them.

Be honest. Have true integrity it will surely pay off in the LONG run. Dishonesty in life and in business eventually leads to failure.

Compromizing
Perhaps it is that tv show that really you know you should not watch that goes against all your morals and convictions. Perhaps it is a song played on the radio that does the same thing. Perhaps a book that you know you should not read.

I believe that by compromising, we walk with conviction of it. We start to mold ourselves in perhaps a way we initially did not want to be molded to. It eventially becomes evident in our daily lives. Therefore, I have taken a stand to walk away from such things that compromise my moral beliefs, etc. I also feel much better by doing so.

You become who you surround yourself with
Really it is true. I have found it in my life and I am confident that if you look back you can see it in yours. Whoever you surround yourself with,  whether good or bad is the type of person you will surely find yourself becoming.

So think wisely about who you walk with and are influenced by.

I truly hope that this article will have positive impact on someone. If it is taken well I would like to continue to part two.
