X factor judge Danni Minnogue ex pop singer actress and sister of pop icon Kylie Minnogue born in Australia, has of late been left with no choice but to undergo tests to prove does she, or doesn't she have AIDS. Apparently some guttersnipe of a low down reporter who likes to think that he/she is a journalist threatened to publish a story about Danni, who now is better known as a judge on the X factor than that of the role she played in the Australian TV series Home and Away and singing on stage. The journalist suggested she had contracted the deadly HIV virus. This is not good practice, AIDS is a serious disease that kills, and someone who uses this as a type of blackmail source needs to be hung drawn and quartered.
This is a serious allegation, and more the pity that Danni didn't let the whole scenario ride, and when the story was printed then she could have sued the newspaper. Danni would of got a major payout for the false accusations made about her and could of donated the money too AIDS research.
There are a lot of people dying from AIDS and this so called person gave no consideration to that, at his time of scaring Danni Minnogue witless. Leave the girl a lone you heartless trash bag. I know it's important for them who have good health to know of the people they sit beside, dance with, or sleep with so as not to catch anything whether it's the HIV virus or not. I see where you're coming from if your intention was to keep society safe; however, something tells me in your case this is not the case and can only be described like the actions of a snake.
All you had to do if you were concerned for others was to contact the authorities and let them take up the matter. The authorities would have handled the situation appropriately instead of in the manner that cannot be seen as anything other than blackmail.
It's only been a few years back that she seen her own sister Kylie Minnogue fight breast cancer, and now this you heartless human being. I can think up other names more suited for the likes of people like you but not going to waste my breath.
Danni Minnogue said she received an upsetting note threatening to cover the front pages of the newspaper as an exclusive unless she agreed to an interview. It was on the Piers Morgan show where she stunned viewers and Piers himself when talking about the AIDS threat, she said there was no hesitation on her part to immediately make an emergency appointment with her GP in a bid to prove the story was false. Danni Minnogue didn't need to prove that she wasn't infected with HIV virus. It was up to the reporter to prove that she was. That same interview she had with Piers Morgan I watched, and I must say Danni was open and honest with her past and present plans for the future. She even spoke of her page spread in Playboy magazine and her reasons for doing so, which was to keep a roof over head. Who wouldn't do the same when faced with homelessness, that is, if you have the face and figure that Danni Minnogue has?
Danni said there are lot of things go on within the media that she accepts and can handle, but this was a different kettle of fish. She told Piers Morgan and the studio audience that she received a bunch of flowers from the reporter with a message saying "we have it on good authority that you're HIV positive and if you don't speak to us, then we're running the headline.' Danni kept the message, so if I were you who ever you are making threats as such, is you had better watch out. Danni Minnogue has a huge fan base and when they get gist of this then its plastic surgery for you mate to save your bacon, so you're not recognized. I'm sure a woman like Danni Minnogue, being intelligent an all that is responsible enough to take it upon herself to make sure she didn't have Aids without her arm being twisted up her back.
Danni went on to say in her own words to Piers Morgan who lately has interviewed Ronnie Corbett (comedienne) Catherine Jenkins (opera singer) and ex glamour model Katie Price (Jordan) "There were lots of telephone calls and I actually thought, 'There's only way to stop this,' And it's just the weirdest thing, I drove down to my doctor's office, sat there, put my arm out and said, 'I need this test done immediately,' And all I could do was have this piece of paper slapped on their desk to say, 'No, I'm not HIV positive, there is no story.'"
AIDS is not a matter to be joked about and neither be threatened with. I mean what kind of sick person would even consider doing this if they were not evil.

HIV kills a type of defense cell in the human body called a CD4 helper lymphocyte which is linked to the body's immune system, the defense system that fights infectious diseases. Serious complications can rise if lymphocytes are destroyed by the HIV virus. People with the virus start to get serious infections that they wouldn't usually get - that is, they become immune deficient. The name for this disorder is acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS.)
Danni Minnogue is at present dating Kris Smith who she did hint at wanting to be connected to him in the way a gold band on the finger brings people together. Kris has made it clear that he would like children, but Danni is not sure, but she also said ‘you never know.' What we do know Danni is the body clock is ticking so get your skates on and look towards a happy future with Kris and kids and leave the past behind you.
