When you begin to write, then you need a place to share your content or topic with others. There are many free ways to share and there are also many paid ways to begin to share. You decide what your goal is and begin going in that direction. If you are a speaker you can put your content into written manuals for your listeners and offer self published books as a gift for those who attend workshops or seminars you are holding.

Ebooks are another one of the ways you can add  into your strategy to share your work with others.  Electronic publishing is easy to do and your reader can just download the file so they have instant access to your work. (After they pay, of course) In addition you can self publish a small quantity of books that you can have available for the person who just wants to see the book on their shelf after they have read it. So the person who purchases from you online has a choice of the ebook or the bound copy of your work.

Many authors are starting with the ebook form of connecting to their reader base and occasionally the brick and mortar publishers contact the person who has been successful with their online sales to do a traditional publishing contract.

If you don’t add ebooks to your sharing mix, you’ll miss out on a huge credibility builder and be leaving a whole lot of money on the table! Get those fingers typing with your content, save them in a pdf file and offer them to those who want to buy your work.  The world is waiting to read what you have to say, so big breath and go for it!  You can do it!!

If you are saying who would want to read my opinion?  My answer , there are a lot of people who could benefit from your experience and how you handled what you went through.  Your approach to solving the situation may just be the very thing that could solve their handling of a situation they have not been able to resolve yet. A shortcut from you could be the best thing that ever happen to them.

We often underestimate how others could benefit from our knowledge or problem solving skills.  Get over playing small and put your ideas out.  Many people will thank you for sharing and you will feel empowered and appreciated for your being able to make a difference.
