I understand how you feel. I too have caught the bug of 'making money online' and have been online for some time with mixed results.

Harry's secret can be summarised by one word...
Dedication!
You may be asking, how do I know that Harry is dedicated?
Well, consider the following facts about Harry.
1. Professional help: he has employed a professional web designer to build a fantastic web site.
2. Professional advice: he has sought my help with web site feedback, search engine optimisation and editing as his English is not very good.
3. Nothing stops him: he has not let his bad English stop him from trying to be a success online.
4. Nothing stops him: he has sold his car and bought a cheaper one in order to have more money to invest in his web site.
5. He has a dream: he is 'desperate' to make it online. No wishy-washy feelings here. Pure drive to succeed!
6. Unique selling point: he is not just reproducing an online product that everyone else is producing. He has improved on an existing idea to make it his own.
7. Time and effort: he spends hours and hours on his computer looking for ways to promote his online business.
Now, does that sound like dedication or not?
Warning: I did not say that starting an online business was going to be easy. Nor did I say that there was no effort involved!
Dedication means work.
Dedication means sacrifice.
Dedication means not giving up.
Dedication means finding a way around problems and obstacles.
Dedication means a commitment to seeing it through.
