There’s nothing like decorating for the 4th of July to show your love and pride for your country. The variety of decorations available range from fun and lighthearted to elegant to country americana. Simply pick the style you like best and work it into your home decor.

The front yard is where many people like to begin decorating for the 4th of July. Have fun showing off to your neighbors with flags, banners, garden stakes, and strands of lights. A 4th of July plaque or wreath on your front door is a great way to greet visitors and show off your pride in the red, white and blue.

Inside, make a statement with patriotic candles or figurines. Simply trade out your usual decor with 4th of July themed items. Throw blankets and pillows in red, white and blue are a great way to add color and show your patriotism. Candle holders, oil lamps and lanterns with stars and stripes add the perfect touch to parties and barbeques.

Speaking of barbeques, a common tradition on the 4th of July, there are a huge variety of themed serving items available for your party. Flag themed napkin holders, salt and pepper shakers, plates, cups, bowls, coasters and serving pieces are great choices. Don’t forget to add the finishing touch with miniature flag centerpieces.

Patriotic decorations are a perfect choice for the 4th of July, but it’s great as year-round decor too. Country americana items are extremely popular and add a light-hearted touch to your home. Collectors plates and figurines featuring the American flag and eagle are another great way to show your patriotism year-round.

Whether you go all-out with a huge 4th of July barbeque, or simply want to show your American pride, it’s fun and easy to add a touch of red, white and blue inside and outside your home.
