Opening a business doesn’t have to be as hectic as some people make it out to be. All you have to do is choose the right type of business and your life will be a lot less stressful. You could go the route most people do and open up a restaurant or store or something of that nature. But in the end you’re still trading your time for money. Have fun spending years of 12+ hr days to get your business up and running. That’s not something I’m real interested in doing. Here’s the better option. Why not open an internet based business?

Internet Marketing has a lot to offer that a traditional business can not. First of all, you can leverage your time. What I mean by this is that you can set-up a website today and it will produce you profits for years to come without any active involvement from you. You can hire people/companies to do all the mundane repetitive tasks such as taking orders, shipping products, customer service, web development (although it is good to know a little bit about this), even promoting (I personally like to do this myself). You can even join an affiliate program and the main company will take care of all the orders/shipping/customer service for you! Then they give you a commission for each sale that you generate.

Another benefit that Internet Marketing has is that it is so cheap to get started. In a traditional business you have to invest $10,000s if not $100,000s of dollars to get started. In Internet Marketing all you need is to register a domain (about $10), get a hosting account ($20/month), and some money to get started promoting (about $250-$300). All of this is taught with the free course I suggested. You can get started for under $300!

Look at it this way. Would you rather works 3-6 months, working a few hours a day, learning how to set-up and website and promote it or 1-2 years working 12+ hours a day at a traditional business? You can even do this while working at your current job until you are making enough to make a living off of it. After you start to make a profit you can take some time off, say a month or two, and your profits will continue to come in. Then go back at it again to increase your profit margin and then take some time off again. Doesn’t that sound better than going to work everyday?
