When buying a home you will soon discover home inspections and your satisfaction with the home inspection should be important to your home inspector becasue the are importaint to you and you are the one paying the bill.

Keep in mind that no home is perfect and that each and every home has defects, big and small. Keep the big picture in mind, don't let the little problems get you down.

Your inspector works for you, feel free to ask how many homes in this neighborhood have this problem. If the answer is "just about all" you are welcome to ask the owner to fix it but do not hold out much hope.

Good home inspection companies get most of their work when clients choose them based upon the recommendation of a attorney, friend or relative. Look for one of the very few home inspection companies who never solicit realtor referrals because it can appear to be a conflict of interest.

Home inspection reports should be simple and easy to read. The home inspection report should tell you what is wrong, why it is wrong and what to do about it. Reports written in legal speek are no good to you or your attorney.

Our reports use the wording your attorney will need if you wish to ask the seller to take corrective actions. We take great pride in having the industries most honest, thorough and patient inspectors. We will explain everything you need to know about the home you intend to purchase. Our office staff and inspectors love to answer your questions. Give us a call and ask a few!
