The use of neck pillows is a proven way to help reduce headaches and stiff necks, and they allow you to enjoy a deep sound sleep. You will get the support your neck and spine need while you're sleeping. Using a neck pillow is also a known way to reduce stress and tension after a tough day at the office.

If you are sleeping on a flat pillow or an overstuffed pillow, chances are you will wake up with sore neck muscles. The natural curve in your neck (the C-spine) needs to have proper support which most pillows are unable to provide. Contour pillows made with regular foam or memory foam pillows are an excellent choice if you want to get that extra support for your neck.

If snoring is an issue for you or your partner, a neck pillow can help reduce or solve the problem. Your posture will also improve with regular use of neck pillows because your spine will be naturally aligned and your neck will keep its natural curve. If your neck bones lose their natural curve you can expect the spinal nerves and surrounding tissues to react by causing symptoms like headaches and neck pain. A worst case scenario is that you lose the normal forward curve in the neck, affecting the brain stem and spinal cord.

There are many different types of neck pillows available these days. The internet has a wide variety of neck pillows to suit everyone's budget.
