Life has a way of teaching us many lessons. Sometimes we must learn these lessons the hard way. Through the trials in your life, have you been able to rise above them, taking only the lessons learned, or do you still hold on tightly to the hurt, betrayal, bitterness and anger preventing you from living the life you are destined to live?
Is there someone or an event from your past that still has a grip on your present and your future? Have you taken the time to reflect on what you have learned from the experience, or have you found yourself unable to let go?
One of the most difficult issues we face is learning to forgive. Most of us have a difficult time forgiving others as well as ourselves.
The truth of the matter is, any issues unresolved from your past has a tremendous effect on today and all of your tomorrows. It may take time, but one of the best gifts you will ever give yourself and your families is to face these issues, deal with them diligently, forgive and move on.
Even in your weakest moments, you possess the inner strength to do what needs to be done to free yourself from the past. No one will ever be able to take that away from you. These are necessary steps you must take to create the life you crave, as you learn day by day to nurture and love yourself for who you are and who you are destined to become. Free the bondage of your past, and begin today on the journey of moving on.
