Fluorite is one of the most popular collector’s stones in the world.

People frequently feel intuitively drawn to fluorite.

I am often asked what fluorite means in esoteric gemology.

What properties are associated with fluorite?

Fluorite is a rare gemstone which naturally occurs in a broad range of brilliant colors. Previously known as fluorspar, it is a mixture of calcium and fluoride.

Fluorite is famous for its shiny luster and its rich variety of colours.

Fluorite is available in purple, blue, green, yellow, colorless, brown, pink, black and reddish orange hues. Its incredible range of colours is rivaled only by quartz.

Fluorite was first discovered in 1530 in England. It is also be found in Mexico, Norway, Russia, China and the United States.

In esoteric gemology, fluorite is said to possess stabilizing energies as well as the ability to strengthen the effects of other stones.

Fluorite may be used as an aid in meditation to support psychic awareness and meditative insight.

Fluorite is known to strengthen analytical faculties and concentration.

Every shade of fluorite is associated with its own meaning.

Blue fluorite is said to sharpen communication skills whereas green fluorite has a purifying, uplifting effect. Purple fluorite is used to enhance clairvoyance.

Fluorite carries an energy that brings a calming influence to chaos.

It helps to restore equilibrium within the four levels of our existence: the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.

Fluorite can help you be unbiased by looking at a situation from different perspectives.
