Success takes more than thinking about it or coming up with more ideas. It takes the middle. It’s not about being creative every day. It’s about preparing and making sure that your organization is on the same track, your constantly moving forward with real tools.

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that’s not talked about. This isn’t in our seminars we go to, or DVD’s we pass out. What that’s all about is the quick and easy fixes, but there is more to it. People don’t talk about the actual work to make a success out of our home businesses. We have similar formulations and may rename things a bit, but we all market on the “quick fix" not the undesirable middle and what begins to feel like a brick wall.

Somewhere in between us having our own business and our dream of success, rather point A and point B there is the hard parts that is not talked about because it’s not very exciting. Yet it will get you to your success and in my opinion the key to success and getting there.

It’s about the day to day balance and balancing the creative side with do diligence. Going to work, the big four letter word WORK! It’s not always fun, exciting or immediately rewarding, but you need to go to work in your home business to have the success you desire.

There is a certain sense of excitement in prospecting when you master it. Dopamine! Yet you get acclimated to it and that’s why you go on to get the next rush. It’s like a drug! So with network marketing you get used to is before you master is and then you loose interest and move on. DON’T do that!

It’s a reality that the excitement will ware off. We all experience it. You are excited you found just the right company and you love the service and product, heck you use it yourself. You want to scream it from a mountain top. During this process you are feeling that rush and excitement while shouting this out from that mountain top. Then one day, before you actually have that great skill or proficiency you are burned out and no longer feel the excitement you once felt, so you think it’s not for you anymore and maybe move on. Maybe you even think your not good at it. What you’re not good at is seeing the reality and you can save yourself by understanding it and embracing it.

The not so glorious middle is filled with that. You need to adjust and continue to train and find some battery charges of motivation for you. You need to equip yourself with the right tools to go from point A of joining a new business to point B your now a success. If you have the essentials at your fingertips, you can kick down that wall and keep pushing forward to your point B.

The basic tools are knowledge, education, training and team support. You want to broaden your education past your current home business in a general sense so you have a firm grip on what you are doing. You most definitely want to learn about the company you’re with and the service or product they offer as well. You need to understand what works for you on a daily basis to get the word out and also learn what the successful people above you are doing day to day and duplicate that. Constant training and real action is the key to success. Don’t give in to the loss of rush you feel. Reboot yourself with some positive people, forums, reading, audio or whatever you find that makes sense to you.

The point is there is work involved and no one, not even the most successful in your business got there by luck and no work. Dig deep and surround yourself with positive motivators and successful people who are willing, and this is important, who are willing to guide you as a newbie in the right and ethical direction!
