| Darwinian fundamentalists have found a cool electric fish in Africa. They are using oscilloscopes as they search for electrical patterns and shapes made by the fish.
While researching the behavior and electrical readings of these fish found in the banks of the Ivindo River in Gabon, researchers came to the conclusion that the fish are in the early process of splitting into two different species.
Despite the research proving they have the same DNA makeup, they believe the process of macro-evolution is happening in these fish.
"We think we are seeing evolution in action."
Matt Arnegard, Neurobiologist & Postdoctoral Researcher in the Laboratory of Carl Hopkins
Mr. Matt Arnegard has been studying the Gabon electric fish since the 1970s. Why is he so certain that the fish are going through speciation? The fish will only mate with those that produce the same electrical signals as they produce. Cornell researchers say that this is the first step to the speciation of this type of fish.
Like those before them, these Darwinian fundamentalists jump from science to a fairy tale. Creationists do not deny that speciation happens it is a scientific fact. The problem is when the Darwinists actually believe that speciation is also proof for macro-evolution. This leap of faith is without any scientific proof.
For there to be scientific proof of macro-evolution we should see, at the least, thousands upon thousands of transitions between the different "kinds" or "types" or "taxonomic groups" of animals. The proof just isn't there. Instead when we see that a fish has changed, or in this story "possibly is changing", the only thing the fish have changed into is another fish.
To be fair, Matt Arnegard does mention that, "this could be just a polymorphism, like eye color in humans, that violates the fishes' general evolutionary pattern but doesn't give rise to separate species." Mr. Arnegard is to return to Gabon to do more testing.
