thats the most boring diet ever! you could loose the same amount eating alot more food than is listed, dont starve yourself thats where you will fail. cut calories by 500 per day and make 'healthy' food choices and add some exercise, your guarenteed to loose 1-3 lbs per week (loose any more and you'll struggle to keep it off) Respond to this comment

Just finished watching a show here called 'Im a Celebrity get me out of here' - based in the jungle in Australia... they survived 3 weeks on rice and beans and small dinners in the evening and they all lost loads of weight!! So........ if they can do it....!!! and it's only a week..... Watch this space!!!! and I will let you know how I survive!!!

Hi to the person who is 15 and weighs 13 stone..... best advice I would say is to go and see your doctor who will be honest with you and perhaps sort you out on a healthy eating plan with exercise.... sounds boring...... but remember the doctor is there to help! I think some diets wont suit you as you are still growing and your body needs certain foods etc....

Message to Jay - if he ever finds this.....!! Good luck with your detox.... You can do it!! Think of the end result!!!!!

Hi again!
Well I hve just finished 7 days of this diet................ and really fed up.... because I have only lost 2lbs. I stuck to the diet religiously and really dissapointed that I did not loose more.
Thus proving that not all diets are for you!!! I guess the best thing to do is cut out all fats, cut down on sugar and salts, exercise a couple of times a week and have the strongest will possible.
I will however, carry on with this diet but only every other day... Good luck to who ever tries this diet! It may work for you!! but not for me!!

The best way to lose weight is to get off your fat lazy arse's and go the gym or even very long walks at a high pace maybe some jogging!(but not too much because you will end up with knee injuries later on in life).
Its only yourself who can do these things, and you dont exactly need to cut down on your food unless its over the GDA, also dont eat too many carbs or too much saturated fat! Respond to this comment

Oh yes and cut down on sugar and salt and drink plenty of water! And get plenty of exercise Respond to this comment

no wonder this diet doesnt really work...if you starve yourself your body will realise and will actually hold onto fat as its not sure when its next meal is coming from!
long term changes are the best like avoiding refined sugar and other carbs like white bread and pasta. fat is fine as long as its 'good fat' like fish and nuts which will actually help you lose weight. good luck guys! Respond to this comment

This is possibly the worst diet advice ever. This is a highly irresponsible diet which in the long term is unlikely to cause any permanent weight loss.
Some better tips for losing weight are: (i) Try cutting daily calories by 500kCal per day, aim to lose 1-3lbs per week (ii) Try and get at least 20 minutes of good cardio work out (eg. jogging, cycling, swimming) 3-5 times a week (iii) Interval training burns fat really efficiently, this involves alternating high and low intensity periods of cardio, try Googling "Fartlek" or "interval training" for more info (iv) Maybe add some light weights/calisthenetics(press ups, sits ups, pull
ups etc.) into your exercise routine 3 times a week to build lean
muscle mass so that your body burns more calories naturally (v) Try and avoid excess fatty foods and cut down on carbohydrates (especially sugar) (vi) Try and eat 5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 larger ones to keep
blood sugar more constant (this helps prevent excess sugars being
stored as fat) and helps cut out snacking (vii) Try and cut out carbs after lunch, large amounts of carbs late on in the day may not be burnt off, many professional athletes eg. Rugby players, American Football players use this to help reduce unwanted body fat Respond to this comment

omg thats nothing to be worried about im 12 stone and im fit and healthy i started to exersize a lot and i go to my school gjm for 45mins and then swimming for 2 hours
i also do a lot of p.e and games at my school (south hunsely)
because its got a sports cantre and its a very sporty school its open to every1.
This is absolutely ridiculous, you do realise that when you start eating "normally" again you put back on the weight you lost and probably extra. I don't recommend that any sane person try this pathetic attempt at healthy eating.
I love the way everyone gets stressy about when someone puts up a diet - anyone who wants to loose a lot of weight in a short length of time isn't going to be doing it healthily are they! I want to loose weight, I keep trying, and I have been going to the gym doing 2 hour workouts and then a few days later what do I find - oh yeah I've put on weight. And then obviously that's because I've just built up some muscle and lost a little fat - no i'm just destined to be a fatty or a starver. btw even when I used to do an hour exercise a day and ate three healthy meals a day I'd put on weight - the only time I loose weight is if I keep my calorie intake to under 1000 a day for a month - but then I tend to get ill and then have to eat and that of course makes me put the weight back on.
It's just one of these things where it's going to suck whichever way you look at it. Just try to keep at it and do whatever you're happy with - if you're getting headaches its either because you're not eating enough or because you're eating too much sugar - you will know which it is and THEY ARE BOTH BAD!
Ok well must get back to my tub of ice-cream (only joking - you think that lasted the time I spent writing this?)
