You've made the desicion that you want to buy a puppy. But what breed of puppy? The breed of puppy you choose should depend on your living conditions, personality, and family.

*Consider your living space. If you live in a smaller space, it is probably best you do not get a dog that requires a lot of exercise. Dogs that are larger usually require more exercise. If you want a big breed of dogs take into consideration their exercise schedules. Only get a bigger breed of dog if you are able to provide them with the proper exercise.Think about smaller breeds of dogs such as the terrier group for smaller areas such as an apartment.

*Think about dogs that you will enjoy forever and not get tired of.Think about the different hobbies you enjoy and if you could do any of them with any breed of dog. For example, if you enjoy jogging in the morning, consider more athletic dogs such as chocolate or golden labs. If you enjoy laying on the couch and want somthing tho cuddle with, a smaller breed of lapdog would be for you, such as a Yorkie or Chihuahua.

*Remember your tolerence level. In choosing a breed of dog, you should not pick a breed that will drive you off the edge. What I mean by this is if you have a low tolerence level, I do not recommend yapper dogs such as the terriers or most pointer dogs. I would rather recommend some of the more quiet breeds of dogs such as the Spaniels and Setters.

*Always think of your family. If you have young children, take into consideration what would be good family dogs to you and bad family dogs. If you have young children, do not pick an aggressive breed of dog or a breed that likes to play rough.

Just remember to take into consideration living space, tolerence, personality, and your family and you should pick the right breed of dog that suits you perfectly. I hope you find that perfect dog and enjoy your lives together. And remember: the dog is man's best friend.
