Recognise the value of a hot ebay-type sales category, and purchase your inventory for it from the Source in China at Wholesale Prices.

One of the hottest categories on ebay is Mp4 Players and their accessories started by the iPod craze. And the category shows no signs of slowing down, indeed the multitude of free video and audio material becoming available can only increase its longevity. The use of these little players is clearly moving from being initial players of music for users as a side benefit to their daily lives, to becoming educational devices and more. They are becoming a great medium for listening to books, for language pronunciation training, and for those with at least a 1.8" screen, a monitor for the thousands of expired copyright videos coming into the Public Domain for free downloading online.

With many of the quality concerns becoming a thing of the past, AND, with such a versatility of functions (Music player, Video player, Recorder, Photo store, FM Radio Player), these players are a great choice of product for your business to import from China.

And that's where things start to seem difficult for the entrepreneur. How does one even start to forge the seemingly impossible task of creating connections with the right businesses and people?

Well in spite of many articles and guides around the internet telling you how easy it is, IT IS NOT EASY! If it were, then EVERYONE would be doing it, and that's a fact in your favor. The harder a potential opportunity is to realise, the greater the rewards for a determined person.

There are basically three directions you can take:

  • If you have established volume sales channels, contact the factories direct, and work from your home country base.

  • If you have the time, money and potential volume of sales, come to the Chinese mainland for three months and work hard establishing contacts.

  • With new business ideas and no sales to match, there are a number of Sourcing Companies, Agents and Wholesale Companies here who will supply lower volumes direct to you.

The above methods all have their traps to watch out for, but if you are well-enough informed and you can sustain a high level of persistence, there is a great opportunity awaiting you.
