	Some writers will say they write just for the joy of writing. But even those writers will check to see if anyone has read their articles. After all, part of being a good writer is the ability to write to attract readers. For our writers' contest this month, we are going to let you exercise this ability. For the month of November, the SearchWarp Writers' Contest will focus on who can write current events articles that bring in the most readers from outside SearchWarp. First, brush up on your current events. You can start by going to Google Trends/Hot Trends at http://google.com/trends/hottrends to see which current events topics are the most popular. Then submit your articles to the News > Current Events category. You may view the standings and track your readers by viewing the Current Events Hall of Fame. For articles to be counted, they must be written and posted to SearchWarp during the month of November AND receive referrals from outside SearchWarp during the month of November. Writers may submit as many articles as they want and referrals for all articles submitted by each writer will be combined to determine the contest winner. The Current Events Writers' Contest ends at midnight, November 30, 2009, and prizes will be awarded as follows: First Place $50 Second Place $35 Third Place $20 Remember, you can submit as many current events articles as you can write. We look forward to reading your submissions! All normal terms apply to articles submitted to this contest (see Terms of Service and Submission Guidelines.) Contest times and dates are Central Standard Time. Gaming the system, such as by sending artificial referrals, will not be tolerated and may disqualify contestants. Contest void where prohibited.
