	How do you write articles which attract readers for years and years? Give them sought-after information that never gets outdated! The past two months we asked you to write article about current events, which bring a tremendous surge of traffic for a few days and then stops. Kind of like the meteorites you sometimes see. They burn bright, but fade quickly. With our new writers' contest, we are moving to the other side of the spectrum (the steady burning stars, if you will). We are excited to announce the January writers' contest for "How-to" articles. It's no coincidence that the all-time most popular article on SearchWarp begins with the words "How To ..." This article attracts several thousand readers every day of the year and has done so pretty much since it was first published two-and-a-half years ago. The article also is constantly at the top of the list of articles with the most comments. What writer would not consider this piece a success? We believe that all of our writers have something to share with others, something they can teach to our readers. We want to help you transform your knowledge into easy-to-follow instructions to benefit others! We’d like to help you get started writing how-to articles with our simplified “how-to article template.” Using this template, it is easy to transform your knowledge into simple step-by-step instructions which will attract readers from all over, hopefully for years to come. As an added incentive, we are increasing the number of prizes and the prize amounts. The winners will be the top five positions on the January How-to Hall of Fame at midnight, January 31, 2009. All entries must be put in the Do it Yourself (DIY) > How To category. The prizes are as follows: (in USD) First Place: $100 Second Place: $70 Third Place: $50 Fourth Place: $25 Fifth Place: $15 Remember, you can submit as many how-to articles as you can write.
